November was a very special month because we participated in Mundo Mezcal, the first event in
Mexico City entirely focused in Mexican spirits produced all over the country.
Besides including music and gastronomy from different regions, the event, held during the 1 st and 2 nd
of November, also had product tastings, talks about the tradition involved in the spirit production and
the culture surrounding it as well as an exhibition of the more important agaves that are harvested in
Mexico.
9Reinos is made out of 100% agave espadín, a young plant that has matured during four years and
is produced throughout several steps that provide a smoked, yet complex flavor, reflecting earthy
tones and the smell of plants and flowers of the region.
