Mexico has more than 20 kinds of agaves, however, agave espadin is one of the best known due to
some of its properties such as its flavor, the region where its grown and its rapid harvest in the valleys
of Oaxaca.
The belief is that this agave provides a soft spirit, but this is not entirely true because it all depends
on the production process and the crop.
Our mezcal espadin is produced only with the best batches, which are carefully selected during the
crop before they go to the Palenque, the place where we craft it following the artisanal method which
provides a smoked, yet complex flavor with earthly notes that become very distinctive after each sip.
