Pairing mezcal

This mezcal is made to be enjoyed on its own, avoiding other spirits or mixers. The 9-step-production-process provides a good balance between its smoked flavor and the fruity and flower notes that the agave provides, being generous enough to become part of a gastronomic experience.

Given its distilled properties, it works very well with seafood and sushi, as well as goat and blue cheese. It´s smoked flavor and sweet tasting makes it ideal to pair with tacos or grilled meat, and of course, let’s not forget that due to its origins, it is a great drink to enjoy with traditional plates from Oaxaca such as mole and tasajo.

Mezcal also works with dessert. We recommend trying it with chocolate, this experience will help you notice the earthy and mineral tones of the soil where the agave is grown. It also pairs well with with citrus. Lemon curd or pie are a good example.

And of course, at the end of every meal, we recommend a nice shot of mezcal to nurture body and soul.
